What is a Common Area? What is an Amenity?

Common areas are places on a property accessible to all Residents. Anyone who lives there will have access to these areas. Residents have access to these areas without having to pay any additional fee.

During onboarding, your property will work with a STRATIS project manager to ensure your layout is set correctly.

Layout

Here you can view the layout of your property’s Residential units and, if applicable, common, amenity, and Staff areas.

Selecting each individual house icon will take you into the list of units for that building or area.

STRATIS does not recommend making changes to your property layout without first contacting support. Changing your property layout can result in undesirable effects.

Property Settings Menu

1. Select Property Setup.

2. Select Settings.

From this menu, Yale properties can access the following property settings:

  • Adjust time zone.

  • Set default maintenance email - this will need to be manually copied into the Chirp Admin Panel for its ticketing notifications. This should be done during the initial onboarding. If it has not been done, please contact STRATIS Support. It should be the same email for both the STRATIS Management App and the Chirp Admin Panel.

  • Turn on/off Resident enabled Visitor access to the property.

  • Set Visitor access schedule limits.
