PMS Integrations Menu Options Overview
This page and all others on the help site will be retired in Q4 2024. Please refer to the new help site by clicking the Help icon in the top-right corner of the STRATIS Management application.
To access the PMS Integration menu, properties should select the blue gear icon in the left side menu. Our new integrations menu empowers your property to control the settings for the integration in the way that best fits your situation. If your property signed on with STRATIS after fall of 2020, you’re automatically integrated and can start using the menu. If your property was with STRATIS prior to fall of 2020, and needs to be manually integrated, you likely have existing data that needs to be cleaned up before we trigger your integration. Before the cleanup report is run your property will need to let us know which of the integrations menu settings you’d like us to turn on during your integration. Below is a list of your options. Note that many of these fields are only available to or editable by STRATIS Property Administrators.
Automatically Send Activation Emails
STRATIS will automatically send a mobile access invite email to Residents when they’ve moved in. If you opt to turn this setting off, you’ll have to manually send the mobile access invite email to the Resident when they’ve moved into their unit. This allows you to have more control over when the Resident gains mobile access to their unit.
Future Residents
STRATIS displays upcoming Residents ahead of their PMS move-in date. This number indicates how many days in advance of scheduled move-in to pull the future Residents over to STRATIS. The Future Residents feature allows you to make and test smart keys for Residents for a set number of days in advance of their move-in date. Our recommendation is no more than 30 days in advance, but there is no actual limit for users. Note that mobile keys won’t work until the actual move-in date.
All Future Residents are pulled into STRATIS when they’ve signed a lease, and will become active in STRATIS at midnight on their PMS move-in date even if their status in the PMS is still future. If your property doesn’t elect to turn on the Future Residents feature, essentially setting their number of days to zero, Residents will be pulled in only based on the status listed in your property’s PMS.
Pending Future Residents
Similar to Future Residents, Pending Future Residents pulls an individual into STRATIS sooner than Future Residents. Pending Future Residents are pulled into STRATIS when they haven’t yet signed a lease, but your property views the individual as enough of a done deal that you begin to set them up and make smart keys.
Currently this feature works for Entrata and RealPage PMS properties only.
Excluded Resident Types
Excluded Resident Types shouldn’t be pulled into STRATIS from the PMS. Typically these include Guarantors and Minors, but they can be customized based on how your PMS is set up.
Resident Move-Outs Based on PMS Status
If this setting is turned on, Residents are automatically moved out based on a set date. If turned off, Property Managers have the option to move Residents out manually when their status is set to PAST in their PMS system.
Excluded Residents
Excluded Residents are Residents that should not be pulled into STRATIS from your PMS. This feature is used by our support team for scenarios where a Resident may have more than one unit at a time. Property Staff are unable to manage this setting themselves. Please reach out to our support team for assistance with excluding Residents.
Resident Syncing Enabled
STRATIS automatically runs regular Resident syncs in the background to pull information straight from your PMS. Shutting this off means that the PMS will stop syncing automatically until you’ve either manually triggered a sync, or turned syncing back on. This setting can only be changed by STRATIS. If you wish to stop your sync once PMS-enabled, contact our Support team.
