Program a Schlage BE467/FE410 Resident Lock - Schlage

Once your lock is commissioned to your STRATIS-managed Engage site, you’ll be able to program the lock for use with STRATIS.

To log in to STRATIS and download door files you must be connected to WiFi. However, to program locks you don’t need to be connected to WiFi.

  1. Log in to the STRATIS management app on your STRATIS-provided tablet.

  2. Select Door Operations from the homepage under Shortcuts.

  3. Select Download Door Files and choose the units you would like to download.

  4. Select Download.

  5. Under Connect to Locks, select the Bluetooth option.

  6. The tablet will now begin to scan for nearby locks.

    • If you don’t see the lock immediately, scroll down through the list of locks.

    • If it still doesn’t appear, Scan Again.

    • If after the additional scan it doesn’t appear, move below to the below troubleshooting steps.

  7. Select the door you would like to connect to and program by tapping it on the list.

  8. The lock will begin to flash red.

  9. Select Program Door.

  10. The tablet will then try to pull a door audit automatically and move into programming the lock.

  11. After the lock is programmed a banner will appear confirming that the lock was programmed successfully.

COMMON TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS

The tablet is not finding any locks

  • Ensure that Bluetooth on the tablet has been turned on.

    • If Bluetooth was already on, confirm that you are on the most up to date version of the application.

    • Visit Android.Stratisiot.com to update to newest version.

  • You’re getting the error Unable to refresh credentials needed to connect to lock.

    • Confirm that you commissioned the lock to the correct Engage site by logging into Engage and selecting My Team. You should see a user named STRATIS Support.

    • If you don’t see that, you’ll need to delete the lock out of Engage, factory reset the lock, and commission it to the correct Engage site.

    • To access the correct Engage site please talk to your property manager or administrator.

  • You’re getting the error Door file not found for selected lock.

    • Confirm that the door file is downloaded and that the unit was created in STRATIS.

    • Confirm that the name of the lock in Engage matches exactly the name of the lock in STRATIS.

      • If the names don’t match then rename the lock in Engage:

        • Go into Engage and connect to the lock.

        • Select Settings.

        • Edit the name of the lock then Save.

        • Disconnect from the lock in Engage and try again with the STRATIS tablet.

    • The lock is displayed as Schlage Lock in STRATIS.

      • Go into Engage and connect to the lock.

      • Select Settings.

      • Edit the name of the lock by deleting one character and adding it back, then Save.

      • Disconnect from the lock in Engage and try again with the STRATIS tablet.

  • The tablet hangs at 0% programmed.

    • Clear app data on the tablet.

      • Navigate to My Account.

      • Clear App Data.

      • Refresh.

      • You’ll be logged out of STRATIS.

      • Sign back into STRATIS and try again.
