Installing Honeywell WiFi Devices
This page and all others on the help site will be retired in Q4 2024. Please refer to the new help site by clicking the Help icon in the top-right corner of the STRATIS Management application.
Honeywell WiFi devices use the Honeywell Home App for initial device set-up. Then, Property Staff with the Installer-level permission assign the devices to respective Units within the STRATIS Management App (stratissphere.net).
Example Honeywell WiFi devices include: T10, T5, T6 thermostats (note that the T6 also has a Z-Wave version), and the WiFi Water Leak & Freeze Detector. The setup process for all devices is the same, with the exception of a few steps in the Honeywell Home App.
If you use the correct naming nomenclature of ExactUnitName X DeviceName (e.g. “101B X Kitchen Leak Sensor”), you’ll be able to Auto Assign devices to units en masse.
1. Make sure that your mobile phone is connected to the network you also want the thermostat to connect to. If you use a different network, setup will fail.
2. Log in to the Honeywell Home App with your provided username and password (e.g. yourpropertyname@stratisiot.com). Confirm that this account username and password are correct for the applicable building / area of your property.
3. Follow all pairing / setup instructions for the respective device.
4. Once the device is paired with the account and the network, log in to the STRATIS Management App and select Devices, then Installer Options, then Honeywell Lyric, and finally Sync Devices.
5. Enter the same Honeywell username / password combo that you used previously.
6. After syncing the devices to STRATIS, select Assign in Installer Options. You’ll have the option of using the Auto Assign (if the device was named correctly, as stated before in this help article) or manual assignment features.
7. Click into the unit(s) under Device Layout to verify that the devices were synced and assigned to the units correctly. Devices should now be able to be controlled and monitored via the STRATIS Mobile App and Management Apps.
