Q: What if a Resident doesn’t want to use the STRATIS mobile app?
If the lock model supports mechanical keys, the property Staff can give the Resident a physical key.
If the lock model doesn’t support mechanical keys, then untracked user codes can be used. Please see article: Yale - Creating Untracked User PINs via the Lock Keypad for more information.
The Resident should never be given the master code.
Q: What is the expected battery life of these locks?
Roughly 6 months, but this is variable based on usage and other considerations. Reference the manufacturer’s data sheet for the specific lock model.
Q: Can the Yale Access or August Home app be used by STRATIS customers?
No, these apps should not be used. Any attempts by STRATIS customers to use them can have potentially negative consequences, e.g. account setup issues.
Q: Does STRATIS integrate with Yale Doorsense?
No, STRATIS does not integrate with Yale’s Doorsense feature.
Q: Does STRATIS integrate with the Yale Connect Bridge?
No, STRATIS does not currently integrate with Yale’s WiFi bridge. The only exception to this is the there is a pilot with Self-Guided-Tours that is currently testing this functionality.
