Remember to make sure that your NCoder is properly plugged into your computer before beginning to create Staff mobile keys.
Staff Member Granted Mobile Access For First Time
Select People.
Select the Staff menu.
Choose the staff member who needs a mobile key, and select Grant Mobile Access. A new menu will appear. In this menu, select Select Units.

Select the desired units in the left menu and confirm the staff member’s email and phone number. When complete, Confirm.
Your screen will show a notification that mobile access has been granted. The black phone icon will change to a blue icon to signify this change.
Now, once the Staff member logs in to their Mobile App on their phone, they will be able to access the units you selected.
Staff Member With Existing Mobile Access Needs Access to New Vacant Unit
Recall that Staff will never have access to a Resident’s occupied unit. When a Resident moves out, that unit becomes vacant. Staff can then be granted access to that vacant unit for the purposes of maintenance, cleaning, preparing for new Residents, etc. To add grant access to a new vacant unit to a Staff person, you must follow these steps to manually add the new unit to their mobile key.

Delete the Staff member and re-add the Staff member following steps 1-3 for Staff Member Granted Mobile Access For First Time listed in the above section of this guide. Since the Staff member’s email address isn’t changing, no new user activation email is sent.

Select all desired vacant units including the new vacant unit, confirm the Staff member’s email and phone number, and Confirm.

If you edit a Staff member’s access after they have already been assigned a mobile key, they will need to pull down to refresh in their mobile app to get the new updated access. Without this refresh, once a mobile key is on a mobile app, it exists stuck in that state.
