The Management application provides the ability to mark vacant units as “showcase” units. A showcase unit can be toured by residents either escorted or unescorted by staff. If your property has a Tour24 integration, prospective residents can view available units and set up a tour from the convenience of their phone.

Before You Begin

Property staff can mark and unmark vacant units as showcase units if they have the Property Administrator permission.

To check if a staff member has the appropriate permission:

1. Navigate To complete the steps in this article, make note of the following:

  1. A staff account in the STRATIS Property Management app.

If you do not have an account, please contact the Property Manager first, then STRATIS Support if needed.

  1. The staff account must have the Edit Property Settings & Layout permission enabled. This permission allows you to mark and un-mark Showcase units.

  • To verify this setting, navigate to the People menu,

2. Locate the name of the staff user and click.

3. Click the Edit Permissions button in the pane.

4. Verify that the Property Administrator check box is activated. If it isn’t, activate and click Save.

Enabling and Disabling a Showcase Unit

1. Navigate to the Property Setup menu and click Layout.

2. Drill down to the unit for which you want to enable or disable showcase access and click it.

3. Click the Edit button in the bottom-right corner of the pop-up to make changes to the unit.

4. Activate the Showcase check box and click Save.

Note

Designating a unit as Showcase is a manual process.

The Status field updates automatically when residents are moved in and moved out. The Showcase option appears only in Vacant units. Normally, it should never be necessary to manually change the Status field. Please ensure the unit is ready for presentation before enabling the Showcase option.

5. Units with the Showcase designation are displayed in the unit list with a Tour24 icon displayed in their tip-right corner.

  • header, locate and click the staff member you wish to view, then click the Edit Settings button, then expand the Property header, then verify that the Edit Property Settings & Layout check box is activated, then click Save.

Activating a Vacant Unit as Showcase

1. To activate a vacant unit as a Showcase unit or verify a unit is activated, open the Places menu, then select the Unit Group (in most cases, this group will be the building).

2. Select the sub-group (in most cases, this will group will be the floor of the building you selected).

3. Select the unit you wish to mark as Showcase.

4. Click the STATUS header to change the setting.

5. Activate the Showcase check box to enable the mode and click Save.

6. The unit will now display Showcase mode on the left pane.

7. In the Places menu, units marked as showcase will display a Tour 24 icon in the top-right corner of their Unit icon.

Once a vacant unit has been marked as Showcase, it can be used to schedule tours in Tour 24 by prospective resident using the Mobile app.
