This particularly applies to Nest thermostats installed or Residents moved in before August 2021. Any Nest thermostats installed since then shouldn’t ever require a reset of your occupancy/Terms of Service.

To Renew Your Nest Terms of Service (To Be Completed By Resident):

  1. Make sure that you have the latest version of the STRATIS Mobile app on your phone. The most up-to-date version can be downloaded from your relevant app store.

  2. Select the Enable Thermostat Controls message on the dashboard.

  3. Carefully read and follow the Next Steps on the screen:

  4. To finish setting up your thermostat in the STRATIS app, re-open the STRATIS app and select the Enable Thermostat Controls message on the dashboard. Then select the Enable Thermostat Controls button at the bottom of the screen, and you’ll be directed to Google’s Get Started page to accept the Terms of Service.
